Ingredients

What's in Bunzie?

Active ingredient: Zinc Oxide 15% (skin protectant).

Inactive ingredients: aqua, castor oil, olive oil polyglyceryl-6 ester, sodium stearoyl lactylate, cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, olive oil, shea butter, glyceryl stearate, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), aloe vera leaf juice, allantoin, xanthan gum, chamomile flower extract, calendula flower extract, caprylyl glycol, methylpropanediol, didecyldimonium chloride, polyquaternium-80.

What is Bunzie made without?

Bunzie is made without petrolatum, mineral oil, synthetic fragrance, dyes, parabens, phthalates, or sulfates.

Why petroleum-free?

Many diaper creams use petrolatum as their base. Bunzie uses plant oils and butters instead, including castor oil, olive oil, and shea butter, so the zinc goes on in a soft, botanical base.

What do the botanical ingredients do?

Aloe, chamomile, and calendula are classic baby-skincare botanicals. Shea butter and olive oil help the cream glide on smoothly, vitamin E is a skin-conditioning antioxidant, and allantoin helps soothe skin.

Is Bunzie fragrance-free?

Yes. There is no added fragrance of any kind.

What does zinc oxide do?

Zinc oxide is an FDA-recognized skin protectant. At 15%, Bunzie helps treat and prevent diaper rash, protects chafed skin due to diaper rash, and helps seal out wetness.

Using Bunzie

How do I use Bunzie?

Change wet and soiled diapers promptly, cleanse the diaper area, and allow it to dry. Twist up the cream and glide it on at each diaper change, especially at bedtime or any time your little one may be in a wet diaper for a while. Before capping, give the top a quick swipe on a clean wipe or a clean diaper to keep it tidy.

Why do I see small bits of cream in the diaper at the next change?

That's the zinc barrier still doing its job. Bunzie is petroleum-free, so as the diaper absorbs moisture, the leftover zinc and plant butters can gather into small, soft bits. It's normal and nothing to worry about.

Why a twist-up applicator?

No fingers, no spatula, no cream under your nails. Bunzie goes on with one hand, which makes it easy on the go or with a wiggly baby, and it fits neatly in a diaper bag.

How should I store Bunzie?

Keep the cap on and store it at room temperature. Avoid leaving it somewhere hot, like a car in summer, since plant butters can soften in the heat.

When should I talk to a doctor?

Bunzie is for external use only. Keep it out of the eyes. Stop use and ask a doctor if the condition worsens, or if symptoms last more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days.
